Spring Break: Mammoth Caves Project

Mammoth Cave National Park is around 53,000 acres in size, which is made up of 390 miles of the current cave system and covered by rolling hills of forest and the rivers. Being home to 130 regular inhabiting species of the caves and 70 endangered spieces, it maintains a diverse and preserved wildlife refuge. The park maintains a serene and recreational atmosphere beyond its enviornmental aspect, and offers 70 miles of beautiful scenic trails. Georgia Tech Trailblazers Alternative spring break will consist of the first 3 days, performing invasive exotic plant species control, and the last 3 days exploring the caves with our own personal tour guide, hiking to local georgaphic sites such as Cedar sink, and maybe even some horseback riding and rock climbing! So, if you are into blazing trails, caving, and leaving Georgia for a whole week- You should apply NOW!
